A bar isn't a restaurant. A bar is an establishment that serves alcohol to adult customers. Maybe there's food. Maybe there isn't. Again: A bar is an establishment for ADULTS. Bartenders aren’t trying to ruin your night. They’re trying to keep their job.

Every single one of these excuses has been heard a hundred times before, and not one of them has ever changed the outcome. No ID means no drink, no matter how convincing you think you sound.
