A couple was sitting at my bar for a few hours, mostly drinking beers with a couple shots mixed in. There was great live music at the bar this night, so after the woman closed out, the couple decided that they wanted to stay a bit longer to watch the band.

The Customer Who Didn’t Know How Prices Work
After ordering another round of beers, the man handed me a 20 and asks, "By the way, how much are these beers?"
"$8 each, $16 total."
"Oh well I only have a 20."
"That's fine. $16 total."
"I want a shot too, but I only have this 20."
"You can pay with a card."
"Can I just get a sample shot or something?"
"Are you asking if you can buy half of a shot?"
"No can you just let me try a little something?"
"Im sorry, no you can't have free liquor."
The woman finally interjected and handed me her card to close.
